Town & Country Transit announces operational changes as a result of the COVID-19 virus.
As of April 1, 2020, Governor Tom Wolf has placed all of Pennsylvania under a 'stay at home' order to help re-duce the spread of COVID-19.
Effective Monday, April 6, 2020, TACT will be reducing Fixed-Route service until further notice. Routes will continue to be the same, but service hours will reduced to 6:45am until 5:30pm.
**Please note that hand schedules will not be individually updated during this temporary reduction in hours. For your convenience, a changed schedule is hanging in the window to reflect the changed hours.
Please limit your fixed-route travels to essential needs, like work, medical, or grocery stores.
Shared-ride trips will also be only for essential needs like work, medical, or grocery shopping. TACT re-serves the right to restrict trips.
The TACT Terminal at 179 N. McKean Street will be closed until further notice to practice social distancing and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
